Refuge Church 

Come - Grow - Serve
Our mission can be summed up in three words, Come- Grow- Serve. First we want to proved an opportunity for the members of our city to get plugged into a life giving church. Then our goal is to have a place for them to grow in their relationship with Jesus. The final piece is to have our members go and serve the community and the church so that everyone around us is impacted by the love of Christ. 

Our Sunday morning services start at 10am. We also have children's programs that provide our kids a place to grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Reverend David Bliss

Senior Pastor
In 2015, Pastor Dave became Senior Pastor of Refuge Church with this motto as his guiding principle. Growing up in Manteca, he has a deep love for this community and has a passion for investing in the next generation.

Reverend Justin Blattel

Associate Pastor
Pastor Justin is the Associate & Youth Pastor of Refuge. He also serves as one of our District Youth Directors in Northern California and Nevada. 

Lisa Bliss

Director of Women's and Children's Ministries
Lisa oversees our Children's Ministry department here at Refuge Church. In addition to Children's Ministry, she also is the Pastoral oversight of the Refuge Preschool. 

Jimmy Whitt

Worship Leader
Born and raised in Napa California, Jimmy received his Bachelor of Arts in Worship Ministry and Music Theory from SUM Bible College and Seminary in June of 2023. He has a deep passion for worship, ministry, and people experiencing the presence of the lord.

Kay Maxwell 

Pastor of Prayer
Pastor Kay oversees our prayer ministry here at Refuge Church. 

Terri Souza 

Business Administrator
Terri is our book keeper and our business administrator here at Refuge Church. 

Molly Malear 

Receptionist
Molly is the receptionist here at Refuge Church. She assists with the day to day tasks of the church. 

Jaden Clark 

Media
Jaden oversees our media department and social media accounts at Refuge Church. 

Refuge Church is an Assemblies of God church

 We adhere to the 16 Fundamental Truths of The Assemblies of God. These Tenets of Faith are based on the truths found in God's Word.
